Hello, I'm Nathan Mayes, an LMHCA offering counseling services in the state of Washington. My passion lies in supporting clients experiencing the grief and loss, as well as relationships struggles.

At the core of my therapeutic approach are values of empathy, validation, and a commitment to empowering clients. I draw influence from the person-centered and existential therapy modalities, allowing me to create a therapeutic environment that respects and honors each individual's unique experiences and perspectives.

I completed my master's in clinical mental health counseling at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, where I developed a strong foundation to guide my practice. As an LMHCA (MC6148439) I have the privilege of receiving guidance and mentorship from Molly Rose Smith Putnam (LH60789734) and Natasha Vlach (LH60526073), approved supervisors who support me in furthering my professional growth and skills.

Beyond my counseling practice, I find joy in making music, writing poetry, traveling to different corners of the world, and drinking Seattle's coffee.
