As introverts, INFP's oftentimes struggle with maintaining the energy levels needed for them to embody their ideals and live the lives that they want to live. This can happen for a few reasons, but some INFP's are engaged in work that can lead to compassion fatigue. Others may get caught up in cycles of seeking external, usually novel, experiences that can feel invigorating in the short term but depleting over time. Others may find themselves involved in exhausting work simply for survival needs (collecting a paycheck).
Aside from the typical advise for introverts to make sure to set enough alone time aside, INFP's specifically can benefit from the idea of cultivating cozy in their lives. Some INFP's will already be giving attention to this idea, but it is common for most INFP's to not prioritize coziness in the ways that can really help invigorate them on a recuring basis.
Here are some steps that INFP's can take to cultivate more cozy:
Notice what makes you feel warm inside. Whether it is the fragrance of a specific candle, a certain musical album, or a favorite sweater, try to notice the impact that comforting things have on your emotions.
Cultivate a home environment that facilitates these feelings. Once you notice what gives you the warm feelings, try to surround your home environment with the things that give you those warm feelings.
Use that environment as a nurturing home to replenish your energy. What we are going for here is optimizing the nourishment that your home can provide for you, and the key to doing that for INFP's is coziness.
Some INFP's get stuck in cycles of depleted energy. One of the ways to fight against this issue is intentionally cultivating coziness. Doing so will help INFP's maintain the energy levels needed to be their best selves in life.
